Driver Education Course Offer

Driver Education Course Offer

Having admitted to a speeding offence and being eligible to attend/complete a National Driver Education course, you now have 14 days from the date of the first offer to book the course.

You can complete this course Online or in person with any of the providers listed in England, Wales or Northern Ireland. Courses are subject to availability, so it is advisable to book as soon as practicable.

You must attend and successfully complete the course within 4 months of the date of the offence. If you book a course close to the deadline and do not attend, it may not be possible to rearrange another course.

Acceptance of this course results in the suspension of the notice and upon the satisfactory completion of the course this is offence will be closed.

The police retain the right to withdraw a course offer at any time up to the point that you have successfully completed the course.

Should you not wish to attend the Driver Education course, you can accept the alternative of a Conditional Offer Fixed Penalty of a £100 fine and a driving licence endorsement of 3 points, which must be completed within 28 days of the offer.

Failure to book and or attend the course, or complete the alternative Conditional Offer within 28 days, will result in court proceedings being initiated.
