Having admitted to a speeding offence, records show that you are not eligible for an Education Course, or you have chosen not to complete a course and wish to complete a Fixed Penalty Conditional Offer.
If you complete the Conditional Offer within 28 days from the date of the offer, Warwickshire Police will not instigate court proceedings in relation to this offence.
A Conditional Offer requires you to;
To complete this conditional offer process online you will need the following information:
The Fixed Penalty Conditional Offer self-endorsement process can be completed via the official Government Website. https://penaltynotice.direct.gov.uk
In order to complete a Fixed Penalty Conditional Offer, you must be able to comply with ALL of the conditions. Failure to do so could see the offence dealt with by way of a Court prosecution, which is likely to incur higher penalties. (To be eligible for this disposal you must have less than 9 points on your driving licence).
If, on submission of your details the additional penalty points for this offence results in your total current points being 12 or more then the fixed penalty procedure will not be available to you. You will be notified if this is the case, and any payment made will be refunded. You will receive notification of the Court process in due course.
If the Conditional Offer Fixed Penalty is not completed in 28 days of the offer being made, then proceedings will be initiated with the Magistrates Court.
Should you wish to finalise this matter by requesting a Magistrate Court hearing, please send a letter outlining the reason for this to the below address:
Camera Enforcement Unit
PO BOX 3273
Rugby
CV21 2XT
Please note that a court will impose a higher penalty/costs than this Conditional Offer, including a guilty plea. Or additional costs should you plead not guilty and be found guilty at court.
