Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and police community support officers (PCSOs) based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Warwickshire.
You can receive regular updates about what's happening in your local policing area by signing up to our local community messaging service, Warwickshire Connected.
Vehicle Crime
Issued 06 January 2025
We have seen an increase in vehicle crime, especially number plate thefts across the beat in recent months. We are raising awareness and conducting reassurance visits where possible.
Please take the time to safely secure your car keys at the end of the day and ensure your number plates are secured effectively to your vehicle. Please report any suspicious activity to us as we are monitoring local hot spots
Burglary
Issued 06 January 2025
There has been an increase in burglaries across the both the Borough and County which we have seen is directly impacting on the wards throughout Rugby Town West. As well as the dedicated teams who work closely on Burglary investigations, the Safer Neighbourhood Team have been working hard to attend those who have fallen victims to this crime, raising awareness to neighbouring houses and streets, and offering crime prevention advice. This will continue throughout the next few months.
If you see something suspicious or wish to discuss how you can lower the risks of falling victim to burglaries, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
