Hate Crime Awareness has been identified as our Q3 priority following an increase in community concerns relating to protected characteristics. With Hate Crime Awareness Week taking place during this period, it is an ideal opportunity to focus on education, engagement, and prevention.
Action taken:
We will increase awareness through school visits and community events, address hate-related incidents, provide reassurance visits to those affected, and work closely with partner agencies to tackle hate crime, encourage reporting, and help keep our communities safe and inclusive.

Nuisance vehicle use
Action taken:
Residents of the Hillmorton and Houlton area who have completed our Warwickshire Connected survey have said that nuisance vehicle use is their top priority. The team will now focus on this for Quarter 3, working alongside other departments and external partners to undertake a variety of operations to deter nuisance vehicles and seize where appropriate.
