Speeding and road safety
Action taken:
Residents of both Brandon and Wolston who have completed our Warwickshire Connected survey have identified speeding and road safety as their top priority. The team will focus on this issue during Quarter 3, working alongside partner agencies to carry out speed enforcement and educational activity, target patrols at locations and times of concern, and engage with the community to address road safety issues. We will continue to provide updates to residents on our activity and outcomes throughout the quarter.

Anti-social behaviour and drug-related activity
Action taken:
Residents in Wolston have identified anti-social behaviour and drug-related activity as ongoing concerns within the village. During Quarter 3, the Safer Neighbourhood Team will focus on addressing these issues through high-visibility patrols, community engagement, intelligence-led policing, and partnership working.

Priority:
Bicycle/ Motorcycle Theft: The Rural Central Team has seen a slight increase in reported stolen motorcycles from Ryton-on-Dunsmore area.
Action taken:
- Officers will engage directly with motorcyclist to raised awareness.
- Provide Bike marking opportunities to help deter theft and aid recovery
- Deliver targeted crime prevention advice, including secure parking and anti-theft methods
- Conduct High Visibility Patrols in identified hotspots locations to deter offending and reassure the community. -
Priority:
Off Road, Nuisance Motorcycles: There has been an increase in anti-social use of off-road motorcycles within open spaces in Brandon and Binley Woods.
Action taken:
- Conduct increased high-visibility patrols in identified hotspot locations to deter offending and reassure the public.
- Target individuals involved in anti-social riding through proactive policing.
- Use enforcement powers, including Section 59 warnings, to address nuisance riders and seize motorcycles from repeat offenders.
- Develop and gather intelligence to identify those responsible and support targeted enforcement activity. -

ASB related activity in Long Lawford: During the summer months, Long Lawford experiences an increase in anti-social behaviour (ASB).
Action taken:
- Conduct increased high-visibility patrols in key locations to deter offending and provide reassurance to residents.
- Target individuals involved in anti-social off-road bike use through proactive engagement and enforcement.
- Utilise policing powers, including Section 59 warnings, to address nuisance riding and seize bikes from repeat offenders.
- Develop and gather intelligence to identify those responsible and support targeted enforcement activity.
