- Plan ahead - make sure you have enough money to cover the cost of however you're going to get home
Getting home
However you chose to head home, please take care and wherever possible, travel with friends, companions or in small groups.
If you are travelling late at night:
- Check train station, taxi rank and bus stop locations and timetables before leaving your venue
- Stay in well-lit areas
- Be aware of your surroundings
- Arrange to be met at train stations and bus stops if possible
- Ensure you have enough money for whatever method of transport you're using to get home. If needs be, go to a cashpoint and withdraw some money.
