Two members of the public and two off-duty officers have been rewarded for their brave actions that saw them save a man's life.
Flash back 12 months and PCs Faye Gardner and Sam Long were on their way back home from the Two Castles Run.

It was June 2025, when a father-of-one had collapsed 40 miles into a 45-mile ride with his cycling club and was having a suspected cardiac arrest.
Retired nurse Tracey Rutter was already on scene giving first aid along with a cycle club member, Fiona Jolly.
