We’re appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage of a motorway collision after a woman sadly died.
We were called to the southbound side of the M6 between junctions 4 and 3 just after Corley Services, at around 10.30am on Wednesday (10 December).
It involved four vehicles - a black Ford transit van, an articulated HGV, a silver BMW and a black Vauxhall Mokka. The van is understood to have ended up crashing into the central reservation.
The driver of the van – a woman in her 60s - was taken to hospital but sadly, has since passed away.
Her next of kin has been informed and is being supported by specially trained officers.
Investigating officers would like anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicles, and how they were being driven to come forward.
They’re also keen to speak to anyone who has dashcam footage of the collision.
Anyone with information or footage should contact us either via our website or by calling 101 quoting incident number 111 of 10 December.
