Appeal for witnesses after fatal collision – Wolston

We’re appealing for witnesses to come forward following a motorcyclist’s death in a collision near Wolston.

We received multiple calls around midday on Thursday 16 April about a collision between the rider of a Yamaha motorbike and the driver of a VW Tiguan close to Dyer's Lane on the Fosse Way.

Our officers attended but sadly, the motorcyclist – a man in his 60s – died at the scene. His next of kin has been informed.

Investigations are underway and we're asking anyone with dashcam footage of the collision or who saw anything get in touch.
