Earlier this afternoon, we arrested three people, all from the Birmingham area, in connection with a suspected burglary in Kenilworth on Saturday 24 May.
Officers detained the trio - two under-18s and one adult - in the Chase Meadow estate in Warwick following a report of suspicious activity there this morning. Two suspects were stopped in a vehicle, while the third was located nearby. They, and the vehicle, were searched, and as a result, all three have been arrested on suspicion of going equipped for future burglaries, the attempted burglary in Kenilworth, and another attempted burglary in Chase Meadow during the night of the 26 May. Whilst they are enjoying Leamington custody, we've increased our presence in the local area to reassure residents and deter further criminal activity.
If you saw anything suspicious or have any information that could help with the investigation, please visit www.warwickshire.police.uk/ro/report or call 101 quoting incident 61 of 24 May 2025 for Kenilworth or incident 26 or 98 of 27 May 2025 for Chase Meadow. Alternatively, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website.
