Three men have been arrested on suspicion of motoring offences after an incident near Coventry.
In the early hours of Tuesday (11 February), we received a report of a car linked to a theft travelling along the A45 towards Coventry.
Officers responded and spotted the car, which failed to stop.
A stinger was used near the Ryton roundabout and the car eventually stopped, however three men fled the vehicle on foot.
A search of the car was carried out with power tools and additional number plates being seized.
Shortly afterwards, we arrested a 31-year-old man from Nuneaton, a 34 year-old man from Coventry and a 29-year-old man from Rugby on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and going equipped.
They have been released on bail while enquiries continue.
