Officers are appealing for help and information from the public as they continue to investigate the disappearance of missing Warwick man Stefan Watkins – known as Lee or LeeLee – who was last seen on 6 May 2023 when he left his home.
We believe he may have travelled to Coventry in the early hours of 7 May. Despite pursuing numerous investigative opportunities and data enquires - speaking with witnesses, viewing CCTV, and issuing media appeals - sadly, Stefan remains missing.
In July, a 45-year-old woman from Warwick was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. Today (Thursday) she has been released with no further action (NFA).
We’re now asking again for anyone who has information about his disappearance or who has seen Stefan to get in touch with us via our anonymous online portal
Senior Investigating Officer, Gareth Unett said: “We truly hope Stefan is alive and well.
“Unfortunately, despite significant investigative work, we have no confirmed proof of life after CCTV showed him leaving his home on the day of the King’s coronation last year.
“It has been, and continues to be, a challenging time for Stefan’s partner. Any information you can give us – no matter how small – may be a crucial missing piece to help get answers for her and Stefan’s loved ones.”
Stefan is described as white, around 6ft tall, with blue eyes and very short hair. He has connections to Coventry and parts of south Warwickshire.
Anyone with information can submit it through the portal, on the force website or get in touch anonymously via Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.
