At just after midday on 6 May, police were called to a report of a man with a bladed weapon allegedly making threats towards another member of the public inside a house near Birmingham Road, Water Orton.
Officers from the firearms team arrived at the location of the alleged incident, entered the address, and subsequently found the alleged suspect and made an arrest.
We can confirm there is no wider risk to the public and no one has been hurt.
Following this, a 52-year-old man from Water Orton has been arrested on suspicion of threats to kill and possession of an offensive weapon.
He remains in custody at this time.
