A 17-year-old boy from Nuneaton has been charged and remanded with attempting to rape a girl between 13 and 15 years of age.
He will appear in Birmingham Magistrates Court on 17 May.
This follows an incident on 11 May in an alleyway near Plough Hill, Nuneaton, where a boy allegedly pushed a girl to the floor and attempted to have sex with her.
The boy reportedly ran away after a witness asked the girl if she needed help.
