We are looking for the driver of a red Uber vehicle who we believe can help us with our investigation into a road traffic collision between a car and a pedestrian on Coventry Road in Exhall last Friday evening (29 November).
At 8:30pm, we received a report that a blue Hyundai car had collided with a pedestrian in the road.
The driver called police and ambulance services. The pedestrian (a man in his 40s) sustained serious injuries requiring hospital treatment. Fire services were also in attendance.
It is believed that a red Uber vehicle stopped next to the pedestrian before the collision took place before driving off.
We are also looking for anyone who saw or who has CCTV or dashcam footage of a male in dark clothing carrying a white plastic bag walking along Coventry Road towards Bedworth from Exhall.
If you can help us with our investigation, contact us through our online reporting tool (www.warwickshire.police.uk/report) or on 101 citing Incident 377 of 29 November. You can also make an anonymous report through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
The investigating officer is PC 1616 Pennington.
