Incident 34 of 4 February 2020
The cyclist who died as the result of a collision with a van on Ridge Lane, Nuneaton at 6am on Tuesday morning 4 February 2020 has been named as 40 year old Jason Dodd. Mr Dodd was currently of no fixed abode and officers are appealing for information as to where he spent the night on Monday, 3 February 2020.
The 21 year old man from Nuneaton who was arrested following the collision has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the collision and anyone who may have seen Jason as he rode on a white mountain bike from the direction of Arden Forest Estate along Ridge Lane or a white refrigerated Mercedes Sprinter van driving in the same direction before the collision occurred to please contact Warwickshire Police on 01926 415415 quoting incident 34 of 4 February.
