Detective Chief Inspector Tim Sharp from the Warwickshire Police Major Investigation Unit said: “We’ve launched a thorough investigation into the fire and our thoughts are with the injured girl and her family at this time.
“We’re appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to get in touch, especially if they’ve got mobile phone or dash cam footage of the incident.”
Anyone with information that could help police with their ongoing investigation should call 101 quoting incident 217 of 20 October 2019. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
