I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 1st September 2025 as follows:
Please provide the total number of offences recorded as having an article with a blade or point in a public place (008/26; Criminal Justice Act 1988, s.139) between 1 January 2023 and 31 January 2024.
Please find the Warwickshire Police response set out below. When reviewing the information please note that it was obtained by searching for all offences, recorded during the period 1st January 2023 to 31st January 2024, under Home Office Classification Code 008/26 - Possession of an article with a blade or point in a public place.
