FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REFERENCE NO: 1101-2025
I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 6th November 2025 as follows:
The request period is from 1 September 2020 to 29 September 2025.
Specific location
According to the council the property is known by the following address:

Nature of information
Please provide details of all incidents and reports – whether received by 999, 101, or online reporting – that resulted in any police deployment to the above address.
Specifically, I would be grateful for the following information for each qualifying incident:-
- Date and time of the report and / or the deployment;
- Nature and classification of the call (such as criminal damage, trespassing, etc);
- Origin of the report (999, 101, online);
- Whether officers were deployed and, if so, the number of officers or units attending;
- Outcome or resolution of each incident (e.g., advice given, arrest made, no further action); and
- Any repeat call reference if the same incident has generated multiple reports.
Please accept my sincere apologies for the delay in providing the response to your request and for any inconvenience that this may have caused. Please find the response for Warwickshire Police set out below.
Response: Section 1 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 places two duties on public authorities unless exemptions apply. The first duty at Section 1(1)(a) is to confirm or deny whether the information specified in a request is held. The second duty at Section 1(1)(b) is to disclose information that has been confirmed as being held.
When refusing to provide information (because the information is exempt), Section 17 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 requires Warwickshire Police to provide you, the applicant, with a notice which:
(a) states that fact,
(b) specifies the exemption in question and
(c) states (if that would not otherwise be apparent) why the exemption applies.
I can confirm that the requested information is held; however, it is not suitable for disclosure in the requested format.
The exemption applicable in this case is:
Section 40(2) Personal Information
This exemption is engaged where disclosure of information relates to personal data of a third party or could lead to the identification of an individual, either from that information alone or combined with any other information from within the Police Service or public domain.
Section 40 is an absolute class-based exemption, which does not require me to provide evidence of the harm disclosure would cause and does not require consideration of a public interest test. That being said, where Section 40(2) is engaged, in order to make the exemption absolute there needs to be evidence that a Data Protection Principle would be breached by disclosure.
In this case, providing the requested detail (date, time, call origin, nature of incident and outcome) for each qualifying incident, is likely to lead to the identification of an individual and could provide personal information in relation to that individual. Such a disclosure would breach an individuals’ rights under the Data Protection Act 2018, in particular Article 5(1) of the GDPR which states that personal data shall be processed lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner in relation to the data subject.
This letter serves as a refusal notice under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information Act in relation to the requested format. Please find the information I can provide set out below.
When considering this information please note:
- A search was conducted of the Command-and-Control System for all incident logs, recorded in the specified period, where the location matched those provided in the request details.
- The results were then manually reviewed to ensure the location was correct and to extract and collate the requested details.
- Please note that it is not currently possible to accurately differentiate between whether an incident was attended by an officer or PCSO. Therefore, the below data is based on incidents showing as attended only.
- Where a report is made and the THRIVE model indicates that deployment is not appropriate at the time of reporting, this does not mean that an officer or PCSO has not attended or made a visit at some later point/s as part of an ongoing investigation or follow up action.
- The Command-and-Control System does not assign outcomes to incident logs; therefore, in order to assist, a summary has been collated based on what is perceived to be the final or main action recorded in the incident log.
