FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REFERENCE NO: 527-2025
I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 12th May 2025 as follows:
I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request information held your police force on police-directed lockdowns in schools.
Specifically I would like to be sent:
- A year-by-year breakdown showing how many times schools were placed into police-directed lockdowns between 2021-22 and 2024-25 (i.e. the latest possible date in 2024-25). I would like this to also show how many were 'soft' or 'full' lockdowns, please
- A breakdown of all the occasions in which schools were put into police-directed lockdowns in 2024-25. I would like this to state the date the lockdown occurred, the name of the school, the reason for the lockdown and whether it was a 'soft' or 'full' lockdown
I would like the above displayed in Excel, please.
