I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 6th May 2025 as follows:
Request for Information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 in regard to the Warwickshire Police meeting with Warwickshire Hunt staff or Warwickshire Hunt members.
I am submitting an information request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. I wish to know the following information:
Q1. Since 01st of August 2024, how many times have the Warwickshire Police conducted a meeting with Warwickshire Hunt Limited staff or a Warwickshire Hunt Limited member/s?
Q2. How many of these meetings have taken place since the 01st of January 2025 until the current date?
Q3. For the duration of the protocol agreed between Warwickshire Police and Warwickshire Hunt Limited, how many meetings between Warwickshire Police and Warwickshire Hunt Limited staff or members took place?
Q4. In reference to question 3, could you please provide a timescale over which these meetings took place and the frequency of the meetings. Or were they conducted as and when requested by either Warwickshire Police or Warwickshire Hunt Limited?
Q5. Since the 15th of March 2025, how many times have the Warwickshire Police conducted a meeting with Warwickshire Hunt Limited staff or a Warwickshire Hunt Limited member/s?
Q6. Could you please confirm the rank of the officer/s attending and conducting these meetings, if it the same officer/s at each meeting or if there is a range of officers attending the meetings?
Please accept my sincere apologies for the delay in providing the response to your request and for any inconvenience that this may have caused you. Please find the response for Warwickshire Police set out below.
Response: Please be advised that some of the requested information is not centrally recorded and is therefore not held in a readily retrievable format. In order to provide a response to questions 3 and 4, it would be necessary to conduct an extensive search of records across relevant business areas, to include electronic correspondence, estimated to involve the manual review of thousands of emails. As such, it has been established that the work required to locate, retrieve and record this information exceeds the ‘appropriate level’ as stated in the Freedom of Information (Fees and Appropriate Limit) Regulations 2004.
In accordance with Section 12(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, this letter acts as a Refusal Notice for these parts of the request.
In accordance with Section 16 of the Act, I have a duty to provide advice and assistance; however, I am unable to suggest a way to reduce these parts of the request into ones that could be managed within the fees limit. I can advise, should you wish to revise and resubmit a request, it may be possible to conduct searches for the period from August 2024 onwards within the fees limit.
