FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REFERENCE NO: 377-2025
I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 31st March 2025 as follows:
Q1. Has Warwickshire Police, as providers of the 'Police National Vetting Service', undertaken any vetting checks for the Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW)?
Q2. If yes, how many vetting checks have been undertaken for PFEW? Please list these in calendar years: 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 (to date).
Q3. Please list the PFEW roles which have been vetted, the vetting level of those roles and the outcome of those vetting checks (again for calendar years: 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 (to date)). Please note I am not asking for any personal details of individuals, merely the position name and then subsequent vetting level and outcome.
Q4. Please detail the costs charged to PFEW for those vetting checks (again for calendar years: 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 (to date)).
Please find the Warwickshire Police response set out below.
Q1 response: Yes, however, only prior to 1st January 2020.
Q2, Q3 and Q4 response: No information held (for the period 2020 to 2025).
