Q1. Whether Warwickshire Police Force provides Trauma Risk Management (TRiM) training to staff? If so, since which date/year?
Q1 response: Warwickshire Police do not use TRiM, therefore our response is no information held.
Q2. Annual expenditure on TRiM training between 2018 and 2024 (or since this began, if later).
Q2 response: Not applicable.
Q3. How much does TRiM training cost per person?
Q3 response: Not applicable.
Q4. Is TRiM training delivered in-house, or by an external provider?
Q4 response: Not applicable.
Q5. If available, provide an annual breakdown of the number of qualified mental health first aiders for staff employed by Warwickshire Police Force between 2015 and present; if this is not available, or would exceed the permitted cost limit, please disclose the current number of qualified mental health first aiders.
Q5 response: There are currently 101 trained Mental Health First Aiders, made up of both civilian staff and officers.
Q6. What training do these mental health first aiders receive?
Q6 response: A 2-day course.
Q7. How much does it cost to train an officer/staff member in mental health first aid?
Q7 response: This training is delivered in house.
Q8. Does Warwickshire Police Force utilise a Welfare Liaison Officer scheme to provide support to staff?
Q8 response: No.
Q9. If yes, please provide an annual breakdown of the number of Welfare Liaison Officers Warwickshire Police Force has had between 2015 and present; if this is not available, or would exceed the permitted cost limit, please disclose the current number of Welfare Liaison Officers.
