FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REFERENCE NO: 333-2025
I write in connection with your correspondence received on 18th March 2025, which contained the following request for information:
I would like to get information on what allocation of funds are given to investigate these types of crime in CV36.
I would further like to know how many qualified police personnel are employed in the xxxx area and what their roles, hours and base is.
Any other information about the funding and resources for CV36 would be much appreciated.
Please find the Warwickshire Police response set out below.
Response: Please be advised that funding and resourcing is not allocated to specific postcode areas in the way described and our response is therefore ‘no information held’ in this respect.
However, outside of the Freedom of Information Act and in order to provide assistance, I can advise that the area is covered by the Shipston Safer Neighbourhood Team and further information is available within the public domain, including boundaries and team composition, via the police.co.uk website and the link below:
https://www.police.uk/pu/your-area/warwickshire-police/
On the first page there is a section titled ‘Neighbourhoods in this force area’ with the list of SNTs underneath. By clicking on ‘Shipston’ you will be able to see all members of the SNT team. There is also a button titled ‘View area boundary’ which will take you to an interactive map showing the area boundary.
It is also important to note that, as well as the SNT, officers from any area would attend crime.
I have also set out a link to information in relation to the PCC’s budget 2025/26 and the page on the Warwickshire Police website containing the Statement of Accounts which you may find of interest:
