FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REFERENCE NO: 286-2025
I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 4th March 2025 as follows:
Please could you confirm how many crimes have been reported to your force that mention Ozempic, Mountjaro, Semaglutide, Saxenda, weight-loss injections, weight-loss jabs or a combination of these in the ‘modus operandi’ for each of the following time frames:
- 1st March 2020 to 28th February 2021
- 1st March 2021 to 28th February 2022
- 1st March 2022 to 28th February 2023
- 1st March 2013 to 29th February 2024
- 1st March 2024 to 28th February 2025
Where possible, please also provide details of the alleged offence in each case.

Response: A search was conducted for all offences, recorded between 1st March 2020 and 28th February 2025, where the stated keywords appear within the MO Description free text field.
I can advise that, based on this search, no offences were located relevant to your request.
