FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REFERENCE NO: 921-2024
I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 21st October 2024 as follows:
Kindly provide data in relation to the use of anti social behaviour powers, as follows:
Kindly provide the total number for each of the above, for each of the last 3 financial years (2021/22, 2022/23 and 2023/24). Please also, where possible, provide a breakdown per local policing area.
Please only provide data where your organisation is the claimant .
Please find the Warwickshire Police response set out below.
Response: Please be advised that the requested information is not held centrally for the entire period and therefore is not held in a readily retrievable format. Prior to 2024 this information was not held within a single system, nor by one individual business area and it would be necessary to make extensive enquiries with multiple teams and units within Warwickshire Police who would then be required to conduct searches of all systems, documentation and communication held. As you will appreciate, this would take an inordinate amount of time and would be above the amount to which we are legally required to respond, i.e., the cost exceeds the ‘appropriate level’ as stated in the Freedom of Information (Fees and Appropriate Limit) Regulations 2004.
In accordance with section 12(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, this letter acts as a Refusal Notice for this request.
Under Section 16 of the Act, I have a duty to provide advice and assistance and can advise that information from 1st January 2024 is obtainable due to it being centrally recorded from that time. Therefore, you may wish to revise your request for the information since 1st January 2024, or for the 2024/25 year to date.
Every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is as accurate as possible.
Your attention is drawn to the below which details your right of complaint.
Should you have any further enquiries concerning this matter, please write or email the Freedom of Information Unit quoting the reference number above.
Yours sincerely
