FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REFERENCE NO: 917-2024
I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 17th October 2024, please find your questions, and the Warwickshire Police responses, set out below:
Please provide answers to the following questions for both 2023 (full year), and separately for 2024 up to and including 31 August:
Q1 response:
2023 – 158 mph
2024 (to 31/8) – 150 mph
Q2 response:
2023 – 70 mph
2024 (to 31/8) – 70 mph
Q3 response:
2023 – morning, between 6:30 and 07:30
2024 (to 31/8) – morning, between 01:30 and 02:30
Q4 response:
2023 – M6
2024 (to 31/8) – M6
Q5 response: No information held. Please be advised that Warwickshire does not have any roads with a speed limit of 20mph, there are only 20mph zones.
Outside of the Act as a gesture of goodwill, I can advise that, due to the above, Warwickshire does not have any dedicated 20mph speed cameras, the only time a speed camera may be enforcing at 20mph would be in the event that a variable speed camera on the motorway is set to 20mph, but this is very unlikely.
Q6 response:
2023 – 83 mph
2024 (to 31/8) – 70 mph
Every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is as accurate as possible.
Your attention is drawn to the below which details your right of complaint.
Should you have any further enquiries concerning this matter, please write or email the Freedom of Information Unit quoting the reference number above.
Yours sincerely
