FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REFERENCE NO: 1033-2023
I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 8th November 2023 as follows:
The number of reported dog attacks (owner or person in charge allowing a dog to be dangerously out of control) in the force area in each of the following time periods:
-January 1 to October 31 2019
-January 1 to October 31 2020
-January 1 to October 31 2021
-January 1 to October 31 2022
-January 1 to October 31 2023
Please do not refer me to previous FOI requests as I'm compiling a national list of attacks, and the responses need to be to the same question.
Please find the Warwickshire Police response set out below.
Response: Searches were conducted for all offences under Home Office code 008/21, recorded between 1st January and 31st October for each year from 2019 to 2023. Please find the breakdown by month set out below.
