I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 12th June 2023 as follows:
Positive action taken at domestic incidents between 2021 and 2022. E.g arrests referrals.
How many vulnerable child’s/ adults have been raised when linked to domestic incidents from 2021- 2022.

If I could please have for Q1:
The number of all offences, recorded between 2021 and 2022, with a domestic abuse marker attached, and the outcomes for these investigations i.e., Charged/Summons, Caution, No Further Action etc.,?
For Q2:
The vulnerable adults/children’s raised with domestic investigation added as a classification.

Q1 response: A search was carried out for all crimes, recorded between 1st January 2021 and 31st December 2022, with a ‘domestic abuse’ marker added. This identified 14,565 offences. Please note that multiple crimes can be recorded for one event. Please see the breakdown by outcome below.
Please note that due to low numbers, providing an individual breakdown for some outcome types, is likely to lead to the identification of an individual. Such a disclosure would breach individuals’ rights under the Data Protection Act 2018, in particular Article 5(1) of the GDPR which states that personal data shall be processed lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner in relation to the data subject. Therefore, these outcome types have been combined, and a total figure has been provided instead under the category of ‘other’.

Q2 response: A search was carried out for all Non-Crime Adult Protection and Non-Crime Child Protection Investigations, recorded as a primary classification between 1st January 2021 and 31st December 2022, with a ‘domestic abuse’ marker added. This identified 73 non-crime investigations.
