FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REFERENCE NO: 201-2023
I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 20th February 2023 as follows:
From 01/01/2020 to 31/01/2023, how many domestic homicide offences, where a partner (and please state their gender) was killed by their current or former partner (please state their gender), have been recorded by your police force?
Please find the Warwickshire Police response set out below.
Response: Searches were carried out for all homicides, recorded for the specified period, where a suspect had been charged. The results were then manually reviewed to identify whether the suspect had been a partner or former partner of the victim. This returned 2 crimes. In both cases the victims were female and the suspects male.
