FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REFERENCE NO: 743-2021
I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 3rd September 2021, and clarification received on 14th September 2021, as follows:
How many Ring Doorbell or other doorbell cameras crime cases have been reported in the past 5 years in your area?
Can this information be broken down by year and nature of the crime?
Could it be possible to also see the number (or %) of the above cases that were solved?
Clarification:
To clarify, it's ‘Ring’ doorbells actually involved in a crime - such as theft of the item, or for example ring doorbells or other doorbells were used to access information about when residents are not home. (ie. hacked).
