I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 16th July 2021 as follows:
Can you please provide the details of the number of Domestic Abuse victims reporting to your Police force broken down as follows:
- The period 1st January 2019 to 31st December 2019 by Gender
- The period 1st January 2020 to 31st December 2020 by Gender
Please accept my sincere apologies for the delay in providing the response to your request and for any inconvenience this may have caused you. I can advise the requested information is held and please find the Warwickshire Police response set out below.
Response: Searches were conducted for all crimes recorded during the stated period with an ‘Event aggravating factor’ of Domestic/Domestic Abuse or that had an ‘Included Classification’ of Domestic Abuse Investigation (non-crimes were excluded). All gender entries which were blank have been represented within the ‘U’ column of the table.
