Q1. Could you please tell me how many police officers in your force are able to communicate with a deaf person by sign language?
Q2. Are there any policies in place regarding sign language within your force?
Please find the Warwickshire Police response set out below.
Q1 response: Warwickshire Police have record of one officer who has self-declared as being able to converse in BSL.
Q2 response: No, I can advise that Warwickshire Police do not hold a policy relating to sign language.
