I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 9TH April 2021. Please find below the response to your request:
I would like to request access to the statistics of racialised hate crime where the victim is a person of East or Southeast Asian heritage (including Chinese or perceived to be Chinese) in a month by month breakdown for 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
Can this please include the types of hate crime and an indication if the victim is female or male.

Please note, only 58% of all racial hate crime victims and 61% of racial non-crime investigation victims have an ethnicity recorded so this data is likely to be an under representation.
