I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 10th June 2019. Please find below the response to your request:
On the stretch of the M6 from the start of the work zone area in Coventry to the Exhall interchange/Bedworth roundabout is the average speed cameras tolerance for that stretch of motorway set at a limit of 50mph or 70mph for prosecution? EG what limit will set the camera off
REPLY: The posted speed limit is 50mph as clearly indicated throughout the works. Warwickshire Police work to NPCC Guidelines of posted speed limit plus 10% plus 2. This means that the camera will enforce at 57 mph.
