For Child Exploitation Awareness Week, we are highlighting some of the work we are doing to tackle child exploitation in Warwickshire.
Operation Makesafe is our initiative to check hotels in the county are looking out for the signs of child exploitation.
On Wednesday evening, officers from our Trafficking and Exploitation Team and volunteers from the Warwickshire Police Cadets carried out spot checks at hotels across the county.
An officer and a cadet tried to book hotel rooms while displaying some obvious signs of exploitation. We were looking for hotel staff to identify the signs and raise concerns.
