Detectives investigating the rape of a teenage girl at Nuneaton Railway Station at the weekend have released a description of three male suspects.
All three males are described as being white, aged between 13-16 years old and of slim build with short dark hair.
One of the males was wearing a dark long-sleeved top, dark coloured jeans and dark coloured shoes.
Another was wearing a black coat with a fur hood, blue jeans and dark coloured shoes.
Another was wearing glasses and dark coloured jeans, jumper and shoes.
They were in company with a fourth male who is described as white, aged 13-16 and of slim build with short dark hair. He was wearing dark clothing.
The three males are believed to have been in Nuneaton town centre for most of Sunday afternoon.
They were in The Felix Holt Wetherspoon's Pub in Stratford Street between 5.10pm and 5.20pm.
We also believe they were in Riversley Park between 4.30pm and 4.45pm.
The investigation was launched following the attack at around 5.50pm on Sunday (19 January).
Detective Inspector Owen Fell from Warwickshire Police said: “We have made significant progress in identifying suspects. We’re releasing the description of them in the hope it might jog someone’s memory, and they may have seen something suspicious that might help with our investigation.
“We’ve had a number of people come forward so far with helpful information and we continue to appeal for anyone else with information, no matter how small it seems, to get in touch.”
Chief Inspector Kris Shore, policing commander for North Warwickshire, said: “We know this incident has caused a lot of concern in the local community and I would like to reassure local people that we are working hard to identify those responsible.
“You may have seen we have seen increased patrols in the area around the police station to provide reassurance to the public and I’d urge anyone with concerns to speak to one of my officers.
“We will of course keep you updated as the investigation progresses.”
