This site is a beta, which means it's a work in progress and we'll be adding more to it over the next few weeks. Your feedback helps us make things better, so please let us know what you think.
Led by Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Angi Gavin, we’re giving women and girls the chance to get out and about while chatting about personal safety.
More than 85 residents have already joined us for walks in Nuneaton, Stratford, Southam, Warwick and Leamington since the beginning of August.
Part of our work to tackle violence against women and girls (VAWG), the walks are open to women and girls living and working in Warwickshire.
Angi is keen for more people to get involved.
She said: “It’s been lovely to get to know women and girls from across the county and be able to play a part in making them feel safer in their communities.
“We’ve received some great feedback so far, with one woman describing the walks as empowering and another who doesn’t usually go out in the evenings saying she felt safe and enjoyed talking to other women.
“You don’t need to let us know in advance – just turn up and join in!"
We've got walks coming up this month - follow us on Facebook for details on the latest walks or find out more here: Walk With Us | Warwickshire Police
