We are appealing for witnesses after the driver of a black Audi rammed one of our officers last week.
At 11.27pm on Tuesday (22 April) our plain clothes officers pulled over a black Audi A3 at Rugby’s Elliott’s Field.
The driver of the Audi pulled into a parking space but – when approached by an officer showing ID – the driver rammed the officer and made off, speeding through Elliott’s Field car park.
Thankfully, the officer was not seriously injured.
We’ve been investigating since that point and we’re now asking for anyone who saw anything to get in touch by calling 101 or contacting us online giving the crime reference 23/16916/25.
