Were you in Longford earlier this evening (Thursday)?
Officers investigating an incident are appealing for witnesses to share information or footage that can help.
Two cars – a silver Audi and a red Mercedes - were being driven near the railway junction around 5.50pm.
Both cars pulled over on Black Horse Road before the driver and passenger in the red Mercedes are reported to have got out.
There was a verbal dispute and the occupants in the silver Audi were assaulted.
A witness to the incident called 999 as it's believed they may have suffered stab injuries, however the silver Audi was driven off immediately afterwards.
Enquiries are continuing and we’re keen to understand more about what happened. We’d also like to check on the welfare of those involved.
If you were in the area or have footage that could help, please get in touch with the force quoting incident number 331 of 3 October.
You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
