Louis Barnett, 32 of Plowden Road in Birmingham, has been charged with robbery, assault, possession of a bladed article, and two counts of attempted theft of a motor vehicle.
Barnett will appear in Warwick Crown Court on 6 June.
This follows the events of the early morning of 5 March 2024, during which it is alleged that a man broke into the back door of a property near Coventry Road in Kingsbury.
The man allegedly threatened the occupant of the house with violence if he did not provide the keys to the cars on his drive.
The keys were reportedly found, and the man allegedly attempted to make off with the vehicles but was reportedly unable to do so due to an additional security device.
