Steven James, 41 from Purcell Avenue in Nuneaton, has been charged with one count of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent and two counts of threatening a person with a blade in public.
He will appear in Warwick Crown Court on 6 June 2024.
This follows the events of 4 May, when at 9:50pm officers were called to an alleged assault on Purcell Avenue, Nuneaton.
One male is alleged to have attacked another with a bladed weapon, leading to significant head injuries.
