Officers are trying to identify the driver of a car believed to have been involved in a collision in Nuneaton on 20 February.
The collision occurred at around 4.30pm on the roundabout linking Higham Lane and Hinckley Road.
Two separate witnesses contacted police following the collision reporting that a blue VW Caddy was most likely at fault and had left the scene. Officers have now identified this vehicle.
The other car involved was a dark grey Ford Fiesta or Ford Focus. They are now trying to identify the driver or anyone else in the vehicle to help with their enquiries.
