A 17-year-old boy from Bulkington has been charged with possession of a bladed weapon in public.
This follows an incident on 16 March when officers were alerted by a member of the public to a young male allegedly brandishing a knife in Bedworth town centre.
Town Centre Officer PC Shorthouse found the male on Newtown Road and reportedly discovered a knife on their person. They were arrested shortly afterwards.
The 17-year-old boy from Bulkington will appear for their first hearing in Coventry Magistrates Court on 28 March.
