Yesterday evening (19 July) at just before midnight, we were called to reports of a serious assault taking place on Rowland Avenue in Studley.
Two boys were allegedly attacked with a bladed weapon, and reportedly had wounds which required hospital treatment.
An alleged suspect was quickly identified and arrested on suspicion of Section 18 assault causing grievous bodily harm – a 40-year-old man from Studley.

DI Buckley said “First aid was reportedly provided to the boys who had received injuries by members of the public in advance of the ambulance’s arrival, for which we give our sincere thanks.”
