Dale Gardiner, 40 from near High Street in Studley, has been charged with Section 18 wounding with intent; attempt murder; and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
He will appear in Coventry Magistrates Court on 22 July for his first hearing.
This follows an incident on Friday 19 July during which two boys were allegedly attacked with a bladed weapon on Rowland Avenue in Studley, reportedly leading to serious injuries which required hospital treatment.
