Bailey Johnson, 19 of Impala Way in Nuneaton, has been charged with obstructing a police officer and violating section 5 of the public order act.
This is following an incident during which a male was reportedly asked to dismount from an e-scooter in the marketplace in Nuneaton by the Town Centre Officer.
The male allegedly swore at the officer and refused to dismount.
When the officer was trying to get details from the male, they allegedly then continued to be loudly abusive to the officer in front of numerous members of the public before being arrested.
Johnson will appear in Warwickshire Magistrates Court on 16 February 2024.
