Elsae Driaj, 28-years-old from Cossington Road in Coventry, has been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine and being concerned in the supply of cocaine.
Driaj has also been charged for possession of nitrous oxide (now treated as a Class C drug) and cannabis, as well as driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
This follows an incident on Tuesday 16 January at around 2:30pm, during which a Mercedes was reportedly stopped by officers while travelling down Greenmore Road in Nuneaton.
Reportedly the car pulled over in a sports centre car park, where, when the officers tried to arrest the driver, the driver allegedly resisted and attempted to make an escape on foot.
The driver and the car were searched, leading to the reported discovery of 102 bags of white powder believed to be cocaine, a small amount of cannabis, and over £200 cash.
Subsequently, a search was carried out at the home of the driver, which reportedly led to the discovery of several large canisters of nitrous oxide and more cannabis.
Driaj will appear in Warwick Crown Court on 15 February 2024.
