We're appealing for witnesses to a serious collision involving several cars in Wolvey.
It happened on Smockington Lane around 9.50pm on Tuesday (9 April).
A man in his 30s who was driving a red Honda Civic sadly died from his injuries while a woman in a grey Ford Kuga suffered minor injuries.
Specially trained officers are in contact with the man's family at this time.
Detective Sergeant Stephen Barr, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “We're urging any witnesses who may have seen what happened prior to or during the collision and have yet to speak to police to get in touch with us.”
