Witnesses sought following reports of assault near Parkfield Road, Rugby

On 22 October at just before 9pm, officers were called to reports of an assault with a weapon near Parkfield Road.
A group of approximately five males, some who had arrived in a black estate car, reportedly assaulted the victim (a male in his 20s) before dispersing in the directions of Newbold Road and Meadow Road.
The victim sustained injuries requiring medical attention from ambulance services.
